She Gives Us Hope

Forced into an assisted living facility against her will, Esta Varon was so unhappy that she lost 26 pounds and became very depressed in just a few months. Rather than sit around feeling sorry for herself, Esta did something about it. She began by writing to the media.

Esta heard from a woman named Mary Garofalo from Channel 5, Fox TV, a major NY station. Esta’s story aired Tuesday, February 19 on the 10 o’clock news!

Mary responded to Esta because she was "impressed that an eighty year old lady could write such an eloquent letter."

Esta gives us all hope.

Esta Varon does give us hope. She sets an example that if you're beaten down, you don't have to stay down!

Esta Varon didn't accept her fate. She could have - it would have been a lot easier if she had. But, she didn't. She fought back and she fought hard.

Hats off to her!

Esta Varon is fortunate to be alive.

Esta would still be in her forced confinement, slowly dying or dead, if she wasn't able to get Mary Garofalo's attention, the powerful media attention that was the only weapon that worked "in the best interest of the Ward" to expose the truth about guardianships.

Mary Garofalo truly is a hero with support from FOX TV.

Esta was extremely fortunate that she could find ONE person in the powerful media who took the time to read her letters, to find out what was going on and then do something about it with support from Fox TV.

How many Esta's are out there who are unable to write or call or cry out?

How many Esta's are silently crying for help but no one hears and worse yet, no one cares?

This is not an isolated case, this case is an example of many, one example of a system gone wrong, a system turned and twisted into a racket, like organized crime.

Guardianship "does not work in the best interest of the Ward"; Guardinanship works "in the best interest of the Guardian" and the loop of probate crooks.

Anyone who trusts this system or thinks guardianship is working the way it was meant to be or the way it should. Any pesons want to step forward and volunteer to become a ward of the state, now or in the future?

Volunteers please come forward, please sign up now to show your trust and full support for the guardianship system.

Esta also did a wonderful job on the Mike and Juliette Show. She was poised and confident.

Incompetent?

No way!

She gives us hope and she is the light at the end of the tunnel.

Esta Varon's case proves the point that the media is the way to get justice.

Mrs. Varon is a role model. She didn't stop. She knew what was being done to her was wrong in every way and she didn't stop.

I am very proud of her.

The Fox 5 story of Esta Varon featured NASGA. It got so much attention, Fox came back and did a follow-up. And then Mike and Juliet picked it up.

All because of one brave and detemined woman - Esta Varon!

No one who has seen the Fox reports can deny that Esta Varon is competent. She may even be more competent than most of us!

Ok good people we need to stop this forced institutionalization of people. I used people instead of elderly because while my case was being litigated,in Superior Court,Elizabeth, NJ. One of the litigants was a 40'ish fellow whom I knew from the Plaza Nursing home where they held my mother against her will and mine for 4 years. I had to thank the universe in my soul-because he was there due to the nursing home forcing his sister to go to court to release him. So some nursing homes are our new prison for the elderly.
