In-Home Services Cut

Senior citizens who need home care may have to wait. The Passport program designed to keep the elderly out of nursing homes has been cut in the governor's new budget; that could affect 2,000 people in the area.

This makes no sense whatsoever.

Everybody knows it saves money to be at home vs a nursing home. Not only that, but people who are at home aren't exposed to unnecessary germs and subsequent illnesses.

This make no sense.

The state has money for nursing homes, but not home care. Hmmm.
