This is a good overall review of how guardianship actually works.
The judge is at fault here. The report says family accused one another of stealing. OK, why didn't the judge sort that out and see if there was actual theft? THAT would be in Geraldine Strege's best interest.
Wow! This is exactly what is happening to my mother, only she had all the correct paper work to prevent guardianship and the court ignored it. I believe it is a tight group of people working the system, who would not be able to make a living if not off the elderly they trap. My siblings that have a conflict with my mother live out of town, there really is no sibling issues on my part the court makes all that up.
Have FOX News check out Retta Rickow of Florida!
This is a good story that says it all short and sweet.
I am sorry for what has happened to Geraldine Strege and for all victims.
Good report, but the reporter didn't "go there" on the subject of what will happen to Geraldine after her guardian has eaten up her estate.
Other than that, it was very well done.
The POA and the children stole money from a vulnerable adult. They should all be in jail!!! Including any politicians who helped cover up the crimes!
I wonder if the people actually watched this clip?! This report IS ABUSE of an Elder vulnerable adult! It is a clear cover up of the crimes these kids committed against their OWN mother. This story makes a strong case for why Guardians exist and does not help this sites cause!
Gerildene's been ripped off by a corrupt system being rubber stamped by Pierce County Judge Kathrine Stolz. Katherine Stolz has a conflict of interest. Follow the money.
Check into the North West Examiner, Portland story on the woman being ripped off by this corruption of attorney's and Judge invovlment. It is in this Febuary edition. I have heard the F.B.I. is investigating. Justice
If the guardian had not been in the Strege case then would the children have drained all of the money before the children started blaming each other ?
Has Katherine Stolz released information revieling her conflict of interest? What happens to Judges that refuse to reveal her conflicts of interest in parties involved in case being heard in Washington State court?
