The Passing of Gary E. Harvey

Our hearts are heavy with sadness as we mourn the passing of Gary E. Harvey this past Sunday, April 23, 2017 and we pray for peace and strength for his loving wife, Sara, who was only permitted to see her husband for only 20 minutes in the last four years.

Gary committed no crime but was kept in isolation as if he were a prisoner and he was denied the comfort and love of his wife when he needed her most.

For 11 long and torturous years, Sara never stopped fighting for Gary; he couldn't have picked a more loving and dedicated wife.

Godspeed, Gary Harvey.

Sara, I'm so sorry for your loss. So many of us have followed your story for years and kept believing that justice for Gary would prevail. You did your best.

I am praying for you Mrs. Harvey. God will judge those who denied your husband his wife. You must move on with your life and live it as your husband would want you to.

May he now rest in peace.

Oh no, I feel so bad for you.

I know you tried everything in your power but you were up against a cruel system and people who justify their actions to the world but can't justify them to themselves. I agree with Cassie. God will meet every one of your husband's tormentors at the pearly gates and hold them accountable for what they did to him and for what they did to you.

Bless you.

Sara - with a heavy heart I send you my thoughts and prayers at this most difficult time in your life. Gary is free and at peace. My hope is that you can find a place of peace and comfort knowing that you were and are a dedicated, loving and loyal wife to your husband until Gary's last breath and beyond.

Gary is watching over you now.

Gary will never be forgotten.

Your love for Gary will never be forgotten.

I wonder how many wives would have just divorced and moved on. You loved him enough to want the best care for him and to not leave him in the hands of the guardian. The Lord will reward you with an eternity with Gary.

Sara,
I am sorry to hear of Gary's passing. I truly feel and can empathize with your pain as I am sure all here do as well. It is some solace that they are not longer able to hurt him but it does little and compares little to what they stole from the two of you. God has ways of dealing with individuals who abuse and neglect his special children, the vulnerable. Know that He will take care of this in a way you could not even imagine. I pray he grants you the blessing of seeing it at least in part.
