National Whistleblower Assembly:
"Ending the Dark Ages: Turning on the Lights Together"

"Starting today, every agency and department should know that this administration stands on the side not of those who seek to withhold information, but those who seek to make it known."

We encourage all 264 organizations and corporations that signed the Whistleblower Protection Act sign-on letter to join us! We are already bonded by a shared principle that "whistleblower protection is a foundation for any change in which the public can believe. It does not matter whether the issue is economic recovery, prescription drug safety, environmental protection, infrastructure spending, national health insurance, or foreign policy." The program is listed at http://www.makeitsafecampaign.org/.

  1. Whistle Blowers are like guardianship/conservatorship victims.

Because they speak to injustice, they are maligned and every attempt is made to discredit them and make their lives harder.

This is a great opportunity for Whistle Blowers to gather and support each other.

  2. Whistleblowers are brave people. Without them to stand up and shout, many injustices would just continue and we citizens wouldn't know the difference!

  3. Whistleblowers are a special group of people.

I admire their character and their courage for not going along with business as usual and even more admiration for going to proper authorities and/or media with their knowledge.

These brave individuals and groups deserve the highest level of respect and protection.

  4. We owe Whistle Blowers a great debt.

    I hope there's a good turn out!

  5. I especially like this paragraph:

"Starting today, every agency and department should know that this administration stands on the side not of those who seek to withhold information, but those who seek to make it known."
