Redlands Courthouse to Close

The Redlands courthouse could soon be as empty.
A news release by Superior Court officials says the courthouse will be closed as of Oct. 12.

The courthouse has been handling the county's probate cases - cases dealing with the estates and conservatorships of people who have died.

Judge Larry Allen said San Bernardino Superior Court chose to close the courthouse because of a budget crunch.

Filings for probate cases will move to the Probate Division of the Clerk's office at 303 W. Third St., San Bernardino. All filings for traffic matters will move to the San Bernardino Central Courthouse, 351 N. Arrowhead Ave., San Bernardino.

  1. It seems like there was some news about this courthouse in the papers a few years back -- that they'd moved it across town and it was a real inconvenince or something. I can't remember exactly.

  2. Maybe more of them should close or be under strict federal law.
The BlACK LAW DICTIONARY 6th EDITION, PAGE 660 reads in partL
"Fraud - an intentional perversion of truth for the purpose of inducing another to part
with valuables, or to surrender their legal rights"

That is what happens only too often, and no money is left to fight those "fraudsters" and a judicial system who needs reform just as much as Health Care does.

  3. I couldn't agree more, Princes 479!

The Gov of the State of CT is on the right track by closing down the deadwood in that state.
