  1. These reporters are mistaken if they think the POA and Health Care Directives make a difference. Many Court appointed guardians lie about their existence or lie, making accusations to have them rescinded!
    It's all about the money!

  6. What? Wisconsin has sealed guardianship cases?

    Why?

The call for reform in Wisconsin should start with opening up the records and the courts to public scrutiny.

Thank you for this story and I pray Ms. Wright gets justice for her mother.

  9. Theo Lipscomb was "concerned"? Well, why didn't he call Ruth Collins' daughters then?

Would you want someone to call APS on your Mother instead of you,Mr. Lipscomb?

    Shame.

  11. "Ruth Collins was declared incompetent by Judge Mel Flanagan before the county filed a guardianship case in probate court."

No judge has the authority to do such a thing! There are laws providing for due process - even in guardianship! And then there are laws to get such a judge off the bench.

If that statement is true, why is nothing being done about Judge Flanagan?

  12. My dad had a power of attorney in place, but it was no match for the greed of guardians.
His home of over forty years that he owned outright was sold out from under him even though he had more than enough income monthly to pay all of his living expenses and more.

  13. All Guardianship cases in Wisconsin are closed / sealed = recipe for disaster - what goes on behind those closed doors? Dirty secrets are contained in those files.
