Florida Attorney Gets 4 Years for Bilking Trusts

A disbarred Venice attorney went to prison Wednesday in connection with $1.3 million missing from trust accounts, including nearly $1 million stolen from a Holocaust survivor.

Raymond Miller, 67, entered a plea of no contest to a charge he stole $941,256 from the trust of Beila Millet, who survived medical experiments in a Nazi concentration camp. As part of the plea agreement, Miller will spend four years in prison and then be on probation until he pays back the money.

Millet had left the money to Israeli hospitals, schools and veterans' groups when she died at age 93 in 2006. Miller disbursed about $122,000 within months, but more than 50 beneficiaries never received their money, which was now gone.

Miller was arrested in May along with his office manager, Kathryn Kelley, who then gave prosecutors information about the money in exchange for immunity from prosecution.

  4. The spirit of greed destroyed this mans life. At 67 years old he will now spend the next four years in prison, his family will also suffer the wrong choices and decisions made out of his lust for money...these attorney's and others exploiting our elderly must come to the realization......
    WE'RE COMING FOR YOU !

Another Elder is suffering due to the injustice in one of our courts in Hillsboro Ohio.

My Mother, Mollie Florkey continues to be held prisoner in a Hillsboro Ohio facility by her guardian..

For over three years the guardian has abused and isolated Mother from family, friends and spiritual associations. These attacks are done to make the elder feel family and friends have abandoned them, to force the elder to submit to the guardians control.

February 14, 2011 a hearing is scheduled in Hillsboro Ohio to dismiss my petition to remove the guardian.

As Pro Se it will be difficult to stop the guardian, his attorney, the guardian ad litem and even the judge who sentenced Mother to a prison without medical necessity or a least retrictive environment right here in my home. Mother's wishes has always been to return home. Mother only went in the facilty for short term stay but instead, was railroaded.

Even though the odds are against me, I must try ! Over three years ago while being forced to leave Mother's side, I promised Mother, "I would never give up trying to Free her from the prison she's forced to live in."

Many elders and their families need the public's help in putting a stop to these crimes happening to our love ones.

Won't you Please help, by taking a stand against the injustice happening to innocent victims.

Only those that have endured this journey of injustice can fully understand. The courts allow predators of our loves to tape their mouths shut, to stifle their screams crying out for help, while families are being forced to watch while our love ones are mentally and physically being abused by the system. If the families try and protect their love one, they're threatened with arrest and jail.
Where is the justice for the innocent?

Our goal is to prevent others from suffering this horrific, un-ending, daily, mental abuse by "Warning" others, "this could happen to you or your love ones, if we don't unite and legally put a stop to these crimes of injustice."

  5. God help anyone who needs to retain a lawyer.

Raymond Miller is one of many of a parade of crooks disguised as lawyers - good luck.

Miller deserves harsh punishment watch this how he gets out early for good behavior (let's see if Miller can con a fellow prisoner) Usually 4 years means less than 2 served and if there is overcrowding, out the back door to do his dirty deeds again.

What a rotten system getting more rotten every day playing us we the people for fools.
