Three cheers for ABC7!!!
ReplyDeleteI applaud Dan Noyes and ABC 7. I also realize Scalia is home only because the Don Moody (the Santa Clara County Public Guardian) got caught in an illegal act. But, she's home and we have to celebrate that!
ReplyDeleteI love a good success story! Thank you NASGA, thank you ABC7 and Reporter Dan Noyes, and congratulations Lillie Scalia.
ReplyDeleteDon Moody as the Santa Clara County Public Guardian has disgraced his job and broken the law and he should be fired.
I am so happy for Lillie Scalia, I could cry!
ReplyDeleteI hope Don Moody is being held accountable for what he did.
Lillie Scalia is one of the rare lucky ones. We all celebrate this victory!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Dan Noyes, for this and the other two great reports!
Applause and standing ovation to ABC News I-Team and Dan Noyes. Thank you thank you thank you.
ReplyDeleteWithout ABC efforts and involvement exposing the truth of what is going on in those case files Lillie would forever be silenced. Many are locked away with no voice as others are making all of their decisions while profiting greatly this protection scam is not about the warm and fuzzy word guardianship it's a smoke screen folks best to protect yourselves as best as possible I guarantee you we are in their sites -- who is next?
Wonderful investigative results!
ReplyDeleteDon't forget, it's not just Don Moody working by himself; he's working in concert with the facility, Villa Fontana - the same facility that is isolating Gisela Riordan at the direction of the Santa Clara County Public Guardian, Don Moody. Shame on them all.
ReplyDeleteThank you, NASGA, for following this important story.
Dan Noyes did a top notch job and I am so impressed with all three reports. Thank heaven ABC7 came to Lillie Scalia's rescue or she'd still be under the control of the Santa Clara County Public Guardian and she'd be isolated until the day she died.
ReplyDeleteI am also wondering what action will be taken against the Public Guardian. I am hoping a brave lawyer with guts and fire will step up and sue Don Moody for taking the reverse mortgage illegally.
You mean Don Moody is still the Public Guardian after the ABC reports exposing the illegal reverse mortgage and isolating elderly people? Has he even been taken off of these cases? Or is Lee Pullen sanctioning elder abuse and illegal activity by the Santa Clara Public Guardian?
ReplyDeleteHey Anon good questions that must be asked and answered. Are there consequences for wrongdoing?
