New Documentary: "The Guardians"

Billie Mintz is a social documentary maker who first contacted NASGA years ago, after one of our Members had told him the horrible story of what happened to his Mother, a victim in New York State.

Billie was haunted by that story and a few years later when the spotlight was all over Las Vegas, Billie decided to concentrate on those cases in a film which he finished last year. "The Guardians" will soon premier on The Documentary Channel.

Here's a trailer for the film:

  1. *ell no! Retiring to a Western USA trap.

HOWEVER I do hope and pray that people in the other 49 states and 5 populated territories realize this documentary can be applied to the entire USA as well as world wide problem.

The only way out of being at risk to seizure is to expire before YOU become bait to feed the greed of the protection racket operating like a cartel with no end in sight.

  2. Thank you Billie Mintz! If I didn't know any better from the knowledge via NASGA, I wouldn't believe the scenes are based in the USA. Good luck folks with your golden years - your gold for the vultures.

  7. My sincerest thanks to Mr. Mintz for the work he has done on this documentary. I wonder if he had any pressure to back off when he was filming. It's so corrupt and needs to be exposed.

  9. Such a sadly true depiction! Thanks to all for your fine work. Thank you for letting the world know what despicable things are happening under guardianship, judges and attorneys.

  10. Well, when the heck is it going to be made public? And where? We've only heard it will be shown on Canada's documentary channel but it's not listed there...

  11. Couldn't get into L.A. show...sold out. We want to bring my 93 y.o. Mom who is going through this probate, probably to end up in guardianship, even though she has 3 babyboomer kids who take excellent care of her. This is being pushed by Kindred Hospital who wants her house in a resort area to pay Kindred's fraudulent bill for my Dad's medical incarceration. Will you be showing it any time in Orange County, the hub of this abuse in S. California?

  12. Wow, this documentary is very well done. It is horrifying and heartbreaking. Anyone involved in this Organized THUG Network needs to be put away for a long time. They should not be allowed to act as a “how to manual” for other greedy, power seeking above the law bullies!
Thank-you to the filmmaker. Billie, your commitment to social justice is a bright light!
