Consumers spend billions of dollars each year on legal fees. While some are satisfied customers who are getting competent legal help at reasonable prices, many others believe legal fees are way too high and would rather leave a legal problem unresolved than pay for services they cannot afford. As a legal consumer, your best defense against paying more than you should is to educate yourself about legal fees before signing on the dotted line.

ReplyDeleteOh, my, just the term attorney billing brings back the haunting memories of: countless sleepless nights, nightmares and unending night sweats.
ReplyDeleteAttorney billing is the nightmare that no one wants to commit to in their lifetime.
When the retainer is signed, this is "it", the beginning of the end of life as you have known it; the beginning of the unknown; it's like signing your death papers, it's like opening the cover to the big black hole, you know you have to jump in to have a chance at justice .... go ahead....jump....who would do this?
No sane person who valued their lives would jump into a big, dark hole not knowing what is waiting for them - would they?
Welcome to the world of attorney billing.
