Courthouse Witness Unloads on Seidlin

A key witness in the Larry Seidlin civil suit is a courthouse attorney who once worked closely with the judge. I spoke with the attorney today on the condition I wouldn't name him or her and got an earful.

The attorney told me that Seidlin often spoke about Barbara Kasler, the elderly widow in his building whom he persuaded to hand over more than a half-million dollars in cash and assets, according to the suit. Only the lawyer, who no longer works in the courthouse, said Seidlin never referred to her by name.

"He always called her the 'old lady,'" said the source. "He told me, 'I met an old lady in my building. She's out of her mind, but she's loaded.'"

Oh, I am soooooooooooo shocked that the honorable Larry Seidlin would even think such horrid thoughts.

Anyone who believed Seidlin's version for one minute is a fool.

Whoever the witness is - APPLAUSE and STANDING OVATION! I hope he/she feels our support. And, more applause to the reporter who is responsible for getting the story.

Seidlin and his family need to be held accountable for what they did.

Hugs and kisses to the "anonymous" person who in my book is a Saint!

There are two types of people in this world:

PREADATORS and their PREY

WHERE ARE THE FLORIDA INVESTIGATORS?

I could not believe when Seidlin got by the judicial conduct board. And now, I bet they wished he hadn't.

The handling of the Seidlin debacle is a warning to all who live in FL. You are not safe. Judges can do whatever they want.

Thank you Kasler family for standing up.

If Seidlin had an ounce of sense or decency, he'd hang his head in shame and admit what he did and apologize. The public has a short memory. But, instead Seidlin's foolish enough to keep it going. And with every new story, he looks even more guilty.

Seidlin and his family have shame?

In order to have shame, one must have a conscience.

What are the odds that Seidlin has a conscience?

With my own first hand experience in the Florida I can assure you that there are definately prefitators looking for an "old lady" with a retirement income. This same "old lady" often becomes a ward of the state by the preditators then the vultures pick her bones and the judge either doesn't notice OR doesn't care!

Surely the Dade County State Attorney has been filing charges under the Florida exploitation statute 825.103 over the past decade.... and maybe they have applied a double standard in the manner that they chose to close this investigation out so quickly..... especially without opting to present the evidence to a grand jury to decide.

This would have been standard procedure under the circumstances.

They did have this option... and they still do.
