Nina Perez, 31, of 93A Rochester St. in Berwick, Maine was indicted in September for one felony count of possession of a controlled drug and indicted for another felony count of abuse of facility patients while she worked as a nurse in May at the Edgewood Centre in Portsmouth.

Why aren't situations like that being controlled?
While the perp is respnosible for the nursing notes - and undoubtedly falsifying them - doctors on rounds should easily detect a problem.
Oh my. There really is no way to measure the seriousness of Nine Perez' crime. I hope she gets the book thrown at her.
Diversion of medications is an easy to bust crime, and in Illinois can and does result in reprimand, loss of license potential, etc.
What does NOT get busted by the IDFPR in Illinois is the deception perjury, financial exploitation of seniors and disabled children, etc that occurs in guardianship cases.
Why doesn't it get busted? because the criminals on the 18th floor of the Daley Center in Cook County are protected, thats why....
