Probate Sharks: New Blog - Cook County Guardianship Abuse Victims Manual

We are pleased to announce the unveiling of a new guardianship abuse resource blog for the victims of the Cook County Probate Court. The purpose of this blog is solely to provide easy-to-locate resources for identifying and reporting the illegal and unethical activities that occur in the Cook County Probate Court. The blog is dedicated to fellow guardianship victims and their loved ones, with the hope that it will help to bring an end to the criminal activity being endured.

The new blog can be viewed at:

http://www.ProbateAbuseManual.blogspot.com

We at ProbateSharks will continue to bring our readers the same resource information as can be found on the new blog, along with personal and special interest stories as we have in the past.

Signed,

Your ProbateSharks Advocate to End Guardianship Abuse

Thank you to NASGA for helping us spread the word on the new blog!

We sincerely hope we are able to help others, and at the same time build strength for our complaints to various authorities. Sooner or later, as victims and their families learn where and how to report this abuse, we will be successful in putting an end to this criminal activity in the Cook County Probate Courts.

Signed,
Family member of a financially exploited victim of the Cook County Probate Court

Great Idea! A Manual! Good resource material and information to survive guardianship eliminates being blindsided.

One action all adults can take tomorrow is:

1) to execute Power of Attorney (in IL all POA's are considered 'durable')for health care and property

2) suggest PoA's to your family, your friends and anyone who will listen

I am aware POA's are disregarded by probate court but it's the only legal recourse available to us.

Without a valid PoA the risk of guardianship in the last years of your life is a high probability.
