Class Action Filed

A class-action lawsuit was filed asking that the Jasper County public administrator be removed as conservator of her 450 to 500 clients or be ordered to refund any fees she has charged them that the court deems excessive.

The lawsuit was brought by the same attorney who won dismissal of criminal charges against a California woman and her husband who had been charged with kidnapping the woman’s Carthage mother while she was a ward of the public administrator. The attorney recently filed a lawsuit against the public administrator, Rita Hunter, over the case.

The attorney, R. Lynn Myers, said that he has studied about 90 of the probate court files of public-administrator cases since he initially took the case of 95-year-old Emma France and her 67-year-old daughter, Dolores Forste.

One of the issues in the lawsuit is an allegation that Hunter was careless in obtaining guardianship and conservatorship, and that she charged the woman about $4,500 for her services.

This is hot; great news for the victims and for society!

Let's just say it out loud - Rita Hunter is a big time crook with court approval and she finally got caught.

Rita Hunter wasn't exposed or didn't get caught by anyone in the probate racket.

Oh, no, this discovery was made only due to a civil action and a dedicated attorney who apparently did lot of leg work and digging in the muck.

Well, there are many more crooks in the guardianship racket, if anyone in authority cared to take their blinders off and really open their eyes and look into the probate case files to see the evidence of organized crime.

The Federal government will need to recruit 100's of agents to investigate Rita Hunter and the others out there like her who are members of probate organized crime, hiding like cowards behind immunity.

Enough is enough how stupid do they think, we the people are? Immunity is not intended to protect a criminal - period!

Rita Hunter deserves to spend the rest of her days in the slammer. In her cage until the day she is frail and vulnerable when the state appoints a guardian for Rita Hunter.

That would be the beginning of justice served.

Let's see if there is an honest judge in MO who will do the right thing and remove or at least reprimand Ms Hunter. Let's also hope she doens't get re-elected!

Those in positions of trust who use and abuse their positions to profit, damage others who are fulfilling their fiduciary duties honestly and to the best of their abilities. Someone needs to weed out the bad ones a.s.a.p and use the civil and criminal process as an example of harsh punishment for the guilty ones, which will be a deterrent to others that they are being watched.

Will the future state-appointed guardian for Ms Hunter be paid for by the taxpayers???

We must all hope for success for this class action.

It will shine a bright light into the darkness of guardianship abuse if it's successful.
