That's great. Now let's hope for some serious attention from congress to STOP guardian abuse!

Fran Lang should have been sentenced to PRISON. What a piece of work and.....Gus Bilirakis cannot hold elected office; he must be disbarred and he belongs in PRISON.

Talk about skeletons in the closet!!

This is a truckload of rotting bones.

Shame on you Gus Bilirakis!
Shame on you Fran Long!

Come on CONGRESS - take your blinders off - wake up - open your eyes - and take ACTION now!

Remember when Nixon said, "People have got to know if their President is a crook...."?

Well, it's the same here. The people have got to know about Bilirakis' history in predatory guardianships, so they can protect themselves by their vote!

I would like to know what Mitchell intends on doing to help stop the abuse in guardianship proceedings within his state, and what he intends on doing about bringing the issue of guardian abuse to the full attention of congress.

The first step to stopping the abuse is to expose it. This ad does that well.

The people of Florida are getting a much needed education about what can happen to them and likely will if the system is not reformed.

Now, we listen for the roar of outrage.

How anyone could vote for Bilirakis knowing of his participatoin in Adele's nightmare is beyond me!

Let's hope they don't. Let's hope Bilirakis loses because of Adele's story. Now that would be fitting!

That was a pretty slick game plan:
only a preneeds guardian - and then slide right in!

But first indigent, and then not indigent?

Gimme a break!

You are right on target game hunter, this is OPEN SEASON using the probate racket as a disguise on the elderly, especially those who are alone: widows, widowers, childless couples are the predators prized prey.

This is a slick, sick scheme, con-game, being played out every single day around the USA as I write this comment.

Once a person is declared a ward; they are stripped of their dignity and all of their rights; they die penniless, as a ward of the state.

There are "scouts" laying in wait everywhere with ties to the players, predators in the probate loop of crooks, who are only a phone call away.

The scouts get a % of the take (the assets), kick-backs, favors - a finders fee, a job for life.

Examples of SCOUTS: Financial advisors, stock brokers, insurance agents, personal bankers, social workers, senior citizens groups, neighbors etc.

There are only two types of people: PREDATORS and their PREY.

What Adele went through was certainly a nightmare.

If Bilirakas has a conscience, he should be laying awake at night wishing he could live his life over and help people rather than take advantage of them when they're vulnerable.
