Lokuta Vows to Continue to Fight

Attorneys for former Judge Ann H. Lokuta vowed Tuesday to fight on in their battle to return her to the Luzerne County bench, one day after a state discipline court narrowly refused to hear new testimony in her case.

A 4-3 majority on the state Court of Judicial Discipline rejected Lokuta's arguments that she deserves a new hearing because four witnesses who testified for the prosecution at her trial two years ago were subsequently implicated in a corruption scandal.

There was 3 judges on that board who disagreed sharply with the crook judges who removed her. WB friend said she saw Lokuta on TV and she was smiling. My guess is: its NOT OVER YET. If FBI is watching, JBC could just be zipping themselves into a probe by FBI with their brazen corrupted acts. That would be very, very nice.

If it's correct that Lokuta was a whistleblower - even though a bitc on the bench (at least to her support staff) - then she was set up by the JCB!

Judge Lokuta's case has made it very apparent that the PA Judicial Conduct Board is corrupt. That helps the rest of us who are also victims. Right now, judges (and attorneys) can do as they please, with few exceptions. Go Judge Lokuta.

I don't think it's over either.

Keep coming at them, Lokuta!

In a way she's already won. Because they may have gotten her off the bench, but Conahan and Ciaveralla are going to jail!

She's really ahead!

The Board really looks bad with this decision.

I have to admire her persistence and fight. I think in the end she will win. And when she does, they wish they'd given up sooner.

Yes the JCB is clearly exposing its filthy laundry, something I never thought I'd see. It is breaking the status quo in that regard at least. And JCB is addictively stuck in good ole boy mode, which has brought more continuing scrutiny. Maybe that's why Lokuta was smiling. That is good for all victims of judicial tyranny. Keep the exposure coming, JCB, et al. "power addict" crooks.
