Woman sentenced for financial exploitation of elder

RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- Nevada Attorney General Catherine Cortez Masto announced that Carol Nanas, 62, of Reno, was sentenced today in a case of financial exploitation of an elder.

Masto says the investigation showed that Nanas withdrew money from the resident’s account, gambled some of the money and sent some of the money to a sick relative in the Philippines.

A resident of a nursing or Assisted Living Facility? Snakes laying in wait. I fear Nanas will continue predatory way of life. Why isn't this a felony? Many questions that need to be answered.
