This is in spite of a DCF undertaking made nearly three weeks ago that she would be treated by a medical team at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, which is where her family wants her to be.
The judge will also rule later this week on whether Mathew Staver, the Dean of Liberty University School of Law, and founder and chairman of Liberty Council, an international nonprofit organization, is permitted to be the Pelletier’s official lawyer. Staver was appointed late February after a billionaire benefactor came forward on the Glenn Beck radio show with a sponsorship to ensure that Justina gets the best possible legal representation. The DCF is opposing the request.
Additionally, an increasing number of people have joined the struggle to have Justina, who is from Connecticut, returned to the care of her parents. There have been rallies and vigils, and even a TweetStorm on Monday evening that had a reach of 4,717,900 and 13,485,341 impacts. But in spite of this overwhelming support, she remains at Wayside in the custody of the Massachusetts DCF.

once the law is involved we are all screwed :( -- This is an outrage, just like when they took my mother-in-law and all our money, cars, and home - we got nothing - the brother in law who started it got nothing but the lawyers and guardians got plenty :(
DCF opposes the Pelletier's choice of a lawyer?
So what? How could DCF possibly claim any authority to determine who somebody else's lawyer is?
Maybe we can let the Pelletiers pick the lawyer for the DCF.
And while we're at it, let's report whatever DCF attorney made this bone-headed motion to the Bar, immediately.
Basically, on the facts presented here, DCF would have to prove that it's child abuse or neglect to transfer this young lady to Tufts.
Dismay is an understatement if Justina was my daughter, my child I would be through the sky on this. I am concerned for the parents health the stress is a killer I can't imagine the panic and fear. God bless Justina, God Bless her parents and God needs to Bless all of us we're all at risk for repeat performance beware of hospitals with their bag of dirty tricks and layers and layers of LAWYERS. What a sick society KARMA to all who are involved and profiting from this. Eternal damnation.
The power is in getting the information out to the American public in any and every way possible. Most people with even average intelligence realize that we are all on the path towards becoming disabled or elderly ourselves and as such should do everything within our power to be sure that individual's rights are protected.
Dr. Phil's "power" is in informing the public about the injustice that is being heaped on this innocent girl and her family. I hope Justina's family feels the support of people across this nation who are praying that their daughter will be freed. Individuals have rights, whether they are elderly, disabled or have a rare medical issue.
I am praying for this family and all the family so wronged.
