I just watched this hearing and it's really good. I am so pleased to hear the experts sounding like NASGA in a way, standing up for victims and families!
My mother received her US citizenship in 1957. Wasn't she an an "older American" then? She was a vicitim of elderly abuse, and nobody cared. "Abuse of Power: Exploitation of Older Americans by Guardians and Others They Trust." Just saying.

I agree Barbara. This hearing was refreshing and gives me hope that something will finally be done.
All sounds good! but so tired of talk, we need action and penalties for those that abuse their power!
