Woman wanted for financial exploitation of the elderly

LITCHFIELD, Ill. (WICS/WRSP) — A Montgomery County woman is at large after police say she financially exploited an elderly person.

Tania G. Brooks, also known as Tania G. Boerckel, is 46 years old.

She's described as being 5 feet 3 inches tall, with long brown hair, and brown eyes.

Brooks is also wanted on a Montgomery County warrant for failure to appear on a theft charge stemming from an April 2020 arrest.

Brooks was last seen in the Gillespie area in Macoupin County.
