A Texas man accused of deceptive business practices in Missouri is in the Miller County Jail.
According to the Miller County Jail online records, Lance Mickey was booked at 7:48 a.m. Thursday morning. Lance Mickey allegedly took money from customers and left the state without providing work.
Mickey, 40, is charged in multiple cases for deceptive business practices. He is charged with four counts of deceptive business practices stemming from incidents that allegedly occurred in 2020 in Miller County. A warrant was issued for failure to appear in June with a $40,000 bond.
In Camden County, he is charged with three counts of deceptive business practices and one count of financial exploitation of an elderly/disabled person. A failure to appear warrant was issued in April 2022 with a $25,000 bond.
In another case, he’s charged with two counts of deceptive business practices and one count of financial exploitation of an elderly or disabled person. A warrant for failure-to-appear was issued in May 2022 with a $15,000 bond.
According to court documents, Mickey owned several businesses including real estate and contracting companies and around the second week of December 2020, he closed his businesses and left the state.
