A disbarred former lawyer faces nearly five years in prison when he is sentenced on charges that he bilked elderly clients out of hundreds of thousands of dollars as their health and finances withered away.
Reginald “Reggie” Rogers was like “a son” to several elderly clients — cleaning their homes, cooking for them, singing for them to lift their spirits, and spending weekends and evenings with them. Prosecutors allege it was all an act — that his only interest was getting his hands on his clients’ money.
He has been convicted of emptying out his clients’ bank accounts, spending the money on expensive clothes and airline tickets. Prosecutors John Griffith and Diane Lucas are asking for a 57-month sentence.

I just bet if you lined all the lawyers up who have been caught ripping of their clients, they would circle the globe.
Whenever I see another one of these articles, I'm sad to see it, but more glad to see it. "They" say families are greedy.
This blog proves where the true greed lies.
Yeah, he worked "hard for the money."
But what about the other pro's who suck up the lives and money of the elderly and disabled in guardianships/conservatorships?
Why do they get away with it?
I would really like to see lawyers publically come out and condem this guy.

SOCIOPATH, GREED and a gifted CON-ARTIST in a positon of trust - life in a cage is the only just punishment.
I hope Rogers has some assets and properties to seize for the victim's restitution.
Makes me sick and steaming knowing that people like this exist nationwide.
Who do you trust?
Five years isn't much for what the sob did. Still, I guess we're lucky to see a lawyer get any jail time. Even a disbarred lawyer.
We certainly don't trust lawyers, Anonoymous 3.
And guardianship/conservatorship makes us not trust many other people as well.
I hope Rogers has some assets that can be used to repay his victims as well.
