Joe Roubicek get's it. Not only does he get it, he is putting his conclusions to print.

Family members who have grievances, those who complain about the treatment of a ward in a guardianship gone bad are labeled as: 'ungrateful, angry, greedy heirs' and worse.

Eyes wide open: Distraction and Diversion ~~ This is #1 strategy by the abusers to distract inquiring minds from the real issues - those who are guilty of wrongdoing label the complainants as persons with personality disorders, mental disorders, distant family members who came out of the woodwork, along with a long list of descriptive labels.

the list of victims could include others aunts uncles cousins and strangers in guardianship a long list of others other than mom and dad although that is an attention getter sad there are crooks and liars everywhere all of us are walking dollar signs spend it before someone else does is a good plan that is in progress no profit leaves me and you in a safer place

It's about time, with all due respect to the author, that someone with criminal investigations background open that dirty door to expose the dark side of the dark side once that door is opened my hope is people will look at the evidence the process who is in control of pursuing interviews and investigation connect the political dots connect the $ dots and the voting dots to the core of the problems if this continues well folks you are reading your future so firm up and step up no denying what is happening this makes the death panels look merciful and yes get it there are those who approve or deny medical coverage rehab etc if you are of a certain age and that age is dropping fast you might as well do what they are doing in Germany and take control of your destiny before you are trapped in a system who sees you as an item that needs disposing of it's as simple as that.

I, for one, am grateful to be able to express my voice without threat of Risperidone hanging over me. Your comments are eye opening and I appreciate them! Joe Roubicek

I can hardly wait for this book.

Good response, Joe!

And look at the profit Big Pharma makes off of Risperidone and black box drugs routinely given to seniors.

Thank you Joe for connecting so much of the negligence and abuse about which we complain. What especially hit home here is your description of cases in which estates are being stolen from nursing home residents restrained by antipsychotics, just as my father was taken advantage of on the day he died while on a morphine drip and under a DNR order. Do you think that such cases further demonstrate the need for the forensic interview protocol and corresponding legislation which are presented in the document which the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau posts online at http://www.regulations.gov/#!documentDetail;D=CFPB-2012-0018-1047?
