According to reliable sources, Deputy Attorney General Mark L. Zahner, who, since at least 2003, has been the chief of prosecutions for the Bureau of Medi-Cal Fraud and Elder Abuse (BMFEA), in the California attorney general’s Department of Justice (DOJ) in Sacramento, is stepping down from his position at the end of this month. Mr. Zahner is reportedly leaving his office to head an association of district attorneys in California.

Selective enforcement indicates he turned his head when the cases involved persons or entities with power or money?
Need anyone be reminded not only that authorities selectively enforce criminal elder abuse laws when they are violated by attorneys but also that authorities obstruct efforts to establish safeguards needed to prevent attorneys from exploiting the infirmities of the most vulnerable older adults.
...and their beneficiaries! Probate is the most corrupt area of law...no more blantantly obvious than in CC County Superior Court, Dept 14 where John Sugiyama and staff holds court, and Ron K Mullin (et al) is allowed to run amok with the rest of the pack of jackals and wolves.
