Kinston caregiver arrested for sexual crime against handicapped adult

Kinston caregiver is behind bars for sexual misconduct towards a disabled man in his care.

On Nov. 13 the Kinston Police Department Criminal Investigations Division began investigating a report of sexual misconduct between Landrine and a male handicapped adult.

Authorities obtained warrants for his arrest.

John Landrine, 65, of Kinston was arrested on Monday, Dec. 4 by police and charged with the following:

  • Second degree forcible sexual offense
  • Crimes against nature

Landrine is currently being held at the Lenoir County Detention Center under a secured bond.
