Custody Of Drew Peterson Kids

Drew Peterson, charged in the death of his third wife and suspected in the disappearance of his fourth, soon might face another legal battle: a custody fight.

The ex-cop had two children with Kathleen Savio, whom he's accused of killing, and another two with Stacy Peterson, who has been missing since 2007. Drew Peterson's adult son Stephen announced Monday that he has taken custody of the children, but relatives of Savio and Stacy Peterson are looking into whether they can change that.

"It's an issue that's moved to the front burner," said Martin Glink, an attorney representing Savio's father and sister, who filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Peterson shortly before his arrest last week. He added, that he hasn't talked about the issue with his clients or anyone else in the Savio family.

Let the adult son have the kids - they've been through enough and I am sure would feel better with someone they know and trust.

We see Drew Peterson and/or his lawyers in our news more than I see my own relatives.

Drew's son Stephen will continue the unhealthy, sick practice of not allowing the chilren to see the relatives of the deceased Kathleen Savio and missing, presumed dead Stacy Peterson, former wives of the Bolingbrook former cop.

I think the children's minds have been poisoned. Drew is slick, and knows how to brainwash young minds.

I am waiting for the day when the jury verdict comes in on the Savio murder case and oh, by the way a grand jury is in session as I write this re: Stacy Peterson's case.

Oh, my God! Drew Peterson! This psychopath reminds me of Scott Peterson. Lie lie and more lies without missing a beat and this guy is a former police officer. I hope they nail his _ _ _ to the wall for the rest of his life. I hope he is forced to feel fear in prison. I feel sorry for his children, but maybe the best thing for them is to be away, removed from the ordeal so they can better see and accept what is in their futures, which is going to be traumatic and life changing.

I agree, Anononymous.

A custody fight is just more hassle and trauma for the kids.
