The most important document I think anyone should have is a Durable Power of Attorney, so they can avoid guardianship.
But will a corrupt judge accept your documents?
This is no guarantee for sure but it's better than not having needed documents and better yet to film the signing events.
In fact, it's a good idea for all family members to do a film inventory of their elderly relatives loved ones homes and property.
It's also a good idea to film family gatherings to show the relationships just in case.
Now is the time to plan for the unknown future. Now is better than never.
