I think the hardest thing for a parent of a severly autistic child is planning for when that parent will no longer be around.
No doubt these decisions are the toughest decisions a parent or family member will ever make.In its current state of affairs ---- legal guardianship is not much of a happy ending, exceot in those rare instances where it works as intended.
I pray for all persons with children who are battling autism.
