Sick as it gets. Where do you go for help when the abusers are from the government?
This story is sick. Sara and Gary need our help. One thing every single one of us can do is say a prayer that Gary gets to go home and those who committed this abuse are punished. Why don't we start a prayer chain?
Please someone in authority stand up and help this wife! What has our world here in the USA come too? Will they stone her next? Stop this abuse! of power!!
This has to stop, our courts are have gotten so corrupt that there is no justice for the common person. You must be rich to get justice in the USA. The elderly are being harvested by our Superior court judges, lawyers and agencies who are suppose to protect them.
Millions of victims, elderly, weak and unable to protect themselves from fast talking lawyers who are taking advantage of the system. What's worse is when you report this to police, the bar or the judge you're evidence, witnesses and cries for help are ignored.
This is allowed to happen because no one wants to believe that a judge is capable of lying, disregard for seniors and puts greed before justice.
The US is in a recession, everyone is having trouble making ends meet, low life lawyers with the help of judges are using our laws against the weak and elderly to steal their life savings.
These lawyers and judges should be treated like common criminals, they need to lose their licenses and bar forever for their crimes. Our fathers and mothers are being killed and losing their freedom due to the acts of dishonest lawyers and judges.

The Governor and the Attorney General of New York, need to assign a team of attorneys today, this evening before the midnight hour of 12/28/2010 to assist Gary and Sara Harvey of this horrendous elder abuse crime.
Sara is up against an army of predators that are DEAD SET in stopping her because Sara stood up and took a stand against an illegal system that tried to KILL her husband. Now these perts are going to continue to Punish Sara because she's gone Public to the Media. They're going to show Sara who's boss and do everything in their power to shut her down...For What? because Sara wants to care for Gary at home where he will receive one on one care...Let us not forget it's costing the taxpayers hundreds of thousands of dollars holding Gary prisoner at a facility where he is not getting proper medical care and where they tried to murder him.
It is time for the CITIZENS across AMERICA to take a stand and twitter the New York Citizens to begin calling the Governor and Attorney General of New York to Free Gary Harvey and give total control of Gary's care back to his wife Sara Harvey !...

It all boils down to "Where's the Money?" Our greedy courts, guardians, attorney's and hospitals/retirement homes get their claws into someone's life and won't let go. They twist the circumstances to fit their own needs. And the sad thing is that they hold all the power.

Nothing about this case makes sense. The guardian just hands off the responsibility as guardian to some Rita Gould with no order from the court making her/Gould guardian. Her/Goulds job is to protect Gary Harvey yet Gould attempts to starve and dehydrate him instead. Strangely enough she/Gould is still in charge.
Who protects a ward from his dangerous guardian?
It appears all the attorneys involved work from the same law firm protecting each other and now the judge is more interested in humiliating & badgering a concerned citizen who stands up to assist then she is in resolving the issues.
I am of the firm belief that as long as Gary Harvey is in Chemung County, his life is in danger.
I've been there and seen for myself how Gary & Sara Harvey are treated. Gary is treated as if his life doesn't matter. He is left behind closed doors, curtains drawn, no music or other stimulation, no monitors, a sign prohibiting visitors and what we believe is an illegal DNR in place. Chemung County is to "guard" in Gary's best interest yet I think they "guard" to cover negligence, abuse, kidnapping, attempted murder and so much more!!
How does one's physical condition go from medical reports stating that he will be fine then, deteriorate all the way down to where the guardian, Rita Gould would want to end Gary's life?? This is happening in Chemung County, NY.
I am a NASGA member who knows Sara & Gary Harvey. Sara did nothing to deserve her spousal rights be removed but what she did do was complain about the negligent care Gary was receiving. She wanted quality care for Gary, the man she loves!!
I am of the strong opinion that Chemung County did more to Gary then try to end his life, I think they are hiding medical errors. They know they are liable so they are using legal abuse of Sara to cover up there errors!

Now, we'll not only have the power of the people demanding Gary Harvey get to come home, but we'll have the power of prayer.
Freddy, you're probably right that they're hiding medical errors and need to hold on to Gary Harvey to do that, but all Sara Harvey wanted was to bring her husband home. And they need to send him home because it's their job and their duty.
The medical errors they're trying to hide can't be hid upon autopsy. So, at this point, they should just do the right thing and send him home.
Sara, what Chemung County did to Gary was wrong to the core. The way they treat you is wrong too.

Bizarrely if $500.00 is stolen from a bank or corporation the FBI is contacted and they step in.
If the freedom of the disabled and elderly is taken to steal and defraud the United States Government the FBI looks the other way.

Your state elder abuse committee's are nothing but a waste of our tax dollars and time. Why have committees if No one from the state is investigating and reporting these cases of abuse? No one is holding those responsible for these crimes to task.
Clearly, all the state employee's and representatives do is pass the buck. Family is told by government employee's, "it's not their job to intervene and save the victim, yet we're told it is their job .
Hundreds of phone calls are made to decision makers at Federal and State level, but the dead in cycle continues all the way to the top.

Is this the reason the Federal and State Government refuse to budget for them ? Let this fact be known, these victims have already paid into the system, fought and died for our Country so our Younger Generation could have a future and then the younger generation treat our elders and disabled like dirt by turning their back and refusing to rescue them.
Most of the people that sit in Congress in Washington D.C. are of the "Older Generation." How would Congress members like a bunch of gangsters walking into their homes and taking guardianship over them, exploiting them, holding them prisoners and isolating them from their family forever ? think it won't happen ? think again..
The government would have a budget to stop these crimes if they crack down on these nursing homes padding astronomical amounts of money for Medicaid.. These nursing homes goal is to fill all their beds no matter if it means holding the resident prisoner with or without medical necessity. The nursing homes want those beds filled so they can get their Hundred Grand Per Head, that doesn't even include medication.
PEOPLE, ask yourselves why are many of these victims being held prisoners in these nursing homes, and hospitals, many abused and neglected, when there is family willing and able to care for them at home ? it sure wouldn't cost no hundred grand a head to take care of the elderly and disabled at home.
RUN, don't walk, call your state government to put a stop to these crimes. Help Sara Harvey bring Gary home and hundreds of other elderly and disabled victims waiting to return home to family where they will receive proper care at home.
Those who actually need help (many guardianship victims never need or want help) should be able to go to their church or other philanthropic organization. No one should be forced to go to the government. Churches are not doing the job nor are any other groups, and that is a big part of the problem.
