Kirke Bartley Jr. decides to sentence Tony Marshall, Brooke Astor's son, to prison for stealing from his mother, by law the 85 year old Marshall will have at least one year -- and as many as 25 years -- in the solitude of a jail cell (or hospital ward if his health is as precarious as his lawyer says it is) to contemplate where things went so wrong.

Hope it's a big one - he's had his share of living it up.
I heard he got 1-3 years.
He'll likely never serve - at his age. And with an appeal in progress.
I think the case was blown all out of proportion. What he did or didn't do, we may never know. The press sensationalized it all.
