A Loving Family Called "Kidnappers" for Taking the Heroic Action of Bringing Guadalupe Olvera Home

On September 22, 2010, (Ms.) Schultz kidnapped Mr. Olvera under cover of night and brought him to California. In disregard of numerous court orders, Schultz refused to return him to his home in Las Vegas, Nevada. Schultz is now in contempt of court and a bench warrant has been issued for her arrest." - Jared E. Shafer, Nov. 2, 2012

Had the family of WW2 hero Guadalupe Olvera followed Nevada law, their patriarch would not have been allowed to celebrate his 92nd, 93rd, 94th, and 95th birthdays with family and friends at his home in Santa Cruz County, California. He would have been confined to a rest home in Las Vegas after the death of his wife, and would probably have died by now of loneliness and neglect under the "guardianship" of Jared E. Shafer and his protégé Patience Bristol.

After the death of his wife Carmela, instead of staying confined in Las Vegas where he had no friends or relatives, Mr. Olvera asked his family in 2010 to move him back to California - against court orders - to spend the rest of his life with his only child Rebecca Schultz, her husband Bob, their daughter, and grandchildren. Since Olvera's rescue, one of his former court appointed guardians, Patience Bristol, was sentenced to 5 - 8 years in Nevada State Prison for exploiting the elderly while she was employed by Jared Shafer, who has not yet been charged with a crime.

Amazingly, Mr. Olvera's Las Vegas confinement and the bleeding of his assets were completely sanctioned by an unjust Nevada law inspired by Shafer, and under the orders of one of Shafer's cronies Clark County Family Court Guardianship Commissioner Jon Norheim.

Though Olvera was no longer receiving guardianship services from Shafer or Bristol, the court-approved financial bleeding from his bank accounts and other income continued for three and a half years after Olvera's move to California, a state where Shafer and Norheim have no jurisdiction.

The real kidnappers are the bad judge and their court-appointed fiduciaries. And they don't even have to demand ransom; they just take it!

Members of the Bar, lawyers and judges: if you continue to behave this way, the public will take back the authority IT gave you, including the authority to resolve these fiduciary disputes and the authority to self-regulate.

With authority comes responsibility: responsibility to behave in a fair and impartial manner, to listen to all sides, to protect the public, to safeguard the elderly and disabled, and most importantly the responsibility to act in accordance with the law.

That's why you get paid those ginormous fees and salaries, to deliver a service. This is a sacred trust, a privilege, not an entitlement.

Once that trust is breached, no one owes you a thing, not your fees, not your salary, not your reputation, not even your freedom to walk around a free man.

Think about it.

Applause and Standing Ovation to the loving family who rescued WW2 hero Guadalupe Olvera from court ordered hell for a price paid for by the prisoner held captive.

Pay close attention 'Nevada law inspired by Shafer', to who and how protecting was twisted and manipulated into a mega billion cash cow by the stake holders who bought legislation and the others mentioned here:

"...Amazingly, Mr. Olvera's Las Vegas confinement and the bleeding of his assets were completely sanctioned by an unjust Nevada law inspired by Shafer, and under the orders of one of Shafer's cronies Clark County Family Court Guardianship Commissioner Jon Norheim...."

People churned into products to feed the probate C A R T E L.

GREAT JOB MS. SCHULTZ you rescued your daddy from a life of isolation and medication. Your Daddy would be sentenced to a life sentence of misery with a broken heart being told his family abandoned him.

Wake up AMERICA you, your mother's your fathers are marked for destruction.

Now what's in it for Shafer's cronies? You be the judge just remember the lawyers are running the courtrooms where the respondent the defendant of petition for guardianship has no rights.

Probate court: Business deals being conducted in a courtroom.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU to Steve Miller for his dedication:

I'm surprised Jared Shafer is still operating.

He looks so happy on his birthday. And I agree with the author, he likely wouldn't be alive unless his daughter rescued him.

A big thank you to Steve Miller for his persistent and intelligent coverage of an obscene system operating in Nevada. Nevada's unconstitutional law of not permitting a "non resident" any rights in their courts allows the unnecessary bleeding of estates and the violation of the civil rights of the elderly, the disabled and their children. The majority of these guardianships are not necessary at all; many are deemed incompetent or mentally ill when they are not by doctors more than willing to "work" with the guardians. Sadly, this abuse is happening in every single state and county. And thank you NASGA for keeping all of us updated on this horrible epidemic permeating our country. Strength in numbers, information and exposure. We can't stop until this is all FIXED!!!
